David Ortiz' first at-bat lasted only two pitches against Toledo starter Chris Lambert.

Big Papi took a 90 mph fastball down and in the dirt for a ball, and then hit a foul popup about halfway down the first-base line on an 80 mph changeup. Mud Hens first baseman Derek Wathan almost overran the ball, but was able to haul it in.
