Toledo right-hander Chris Lambert, who coughed up a homer to David Ortiz in the third, got the better of the big man in the fifth.

Lambert fanned Ortiz, getting him to chase an 84 mph changeup that was down on a 3-and-2 pitch. Ortiz tipped the ball but it was held onto by Mud Hens catcher Dane Sardinha for the strikeout.
