David Ortiz stepped into the batter's box at McCoy Stadium to a standing ovation. The Red Sox' slugger took a home-run swing at the first offering from Toledo starter Virgil Vasquez -- and 86 MPH fastball -- before popping out to third on the fifth pitch.
