BY SEAN McADAM BOSTON -- Coco Crisp, who Terry Francona says is "a little beat up" and has a bruised forearm, isn't in Friday night's starting lineup. Francona said the soreness was not the result of Crisp's ill-advised diving attempt at a sinking line drive in Tuesday night's game, noting that Crisp had complained about the injury before then. "You couple that with who's pitching (for Baltimore)," said Francona in refernece to Orioles lefty Brian Burres, against whom Crisp is 1-for-4, "and it just makes sense." |
