By Joe McDonald NEW YORK -- A new Red Sox hat was placed in every locker this morning. Teams around the league will wear patriotic hats this weekend to support veterans' affairs. On this 4th of July the Red Sox hat has stars and stripes within the 'B' logo. When Red Sox closer Jonathan Papelbon tried his on, he looked like a little kid with his dad's hat on. Boston will also wear the hats on Wednesday at Fenway when the Red Sox host "Seats for Soliders" at the park.
