He discusses this weekend's series between the American League's two best teams, the Angels' championship chances, Clay Buchholz making his second start since coming off the DL, and whether Richie Sexson can help the Yankees..

Here are some excerpts from Sean's comments:

The Angels: "It's funny, they keep adding outfielders: Gary Mathews the year before last, Torii Hunter this past offseason, to go with Garret Anderson and Vladimir Guerrero and Juan Rivera. They have more outfielders than they can play at any one time, including the DH spot, and yet they never seem to go out and get that big-impact bat that could put them over the top and make them a team to be reckoned with."

Clay Buchholz: "As he admitted, he was pretty nervous in the first inning [last week] and trying a little too hard, and probably thinking a little too much. And now that he's a week removed from that outing, some of that nervousness is gone. He can just go out and do his thing."

Richie Sexson: "The one thing he can do, even as he struggled in Seattle and got himself released last week, is, he can hit left-handed pitching. And I think if [the Yankees] limit him to that kind of assignment and kind of platoon him here and there, and don't overexpose him, he might contribute. But I don't think he's the guy who's going to turn things around for them; I think they could still use some help."
