Jayson Stark on ESPN's trade deadline special just said that he is hearing "from all sides" that the Manny Ramirez is dead: "The Pirates are blaming the Marlins. The Marlins are blaming the Pirates. And the Red Sox aren't too happy with either of them." Meanwhile, the Pirates are apparently courting Jason Bay offers from the Toronto Blue Jays.
