There are lots of reports out there that the Manny Ramirez-to-Florida trade will not happen. And that could be a good thing for one of the Red Sox' key division rivals, because Peter Gammons is reporting on ESPN that the Tampa Bay Rays -- who have been interested in Bay from the beginning, are back in the running. Gammons says, by the way, that the Marlins wanted $2 million in addition to all of Ramirez's salary for the remainder of the season in order to complete the deal. |
