BOSTON _ Red Sox pitcher Bartolo Colon was scheduled to work four innings, or 55-60 pitches, for the PawSox tonight in Syrcause. But, the veteran right-hander, who is rehabbing a back strain, lasted only one inning and allowed two hits for Pawtucket.
His last rehab start was last Saturday where he worked three shutout innings on three hits. After that game on Aug. 10, he returned to the Dominican Republic to aid his ailing father. He re-joined the PawSox to make his start tonight.
More to come. . .
maybe he was hungry?
