TORONTO _ Julio Lugo (quadriceps tear) will return to Boston on Sunday and will have an MRI taken on his left leg Monday.
He was progressing well with his rehab until he suffered a setback while running sprints in Baltimore on Wednesday.
"It's disappointing when you have a setback like that," said Lugo. "I didn't expect this to happen, and we'll see what's going on before I start to push it again. It's not worse, it's just not getting better."
