NEW YORK -- Red Sox pitcher Josh Beckett threw a 50-pitch side session today at Yankee Stadium and it went well, according to manager Terry Francona. The manager said the right-hander felt strong and is still on schedule to start on Friday against the White Sox at Fenway Park.
Beckett has been pushed back twice due to numbness and tingling in his fingers on his throwing hand and a bout of inflammation in his elbow.
