Click the play button below to hear Sean's comments, recorded this morning. The topics: encouraging signs from Jacoby Ellsbury, Kevin Youkilis' penchant for getting beaned, how Ken Griffey Jr. helps -- or doesn't help -- the Chicago White Sox; and the Tampa Bay Rays as a possible team of destiny.

Here's what Sean said about Ellsbury:

"Ellsbury really seems to have turned the corner the last couple of nights. Two hits from the bottom of the order on Tuesday, and then three from the six spot last night, including his first home run in about seven weeks and his first ever in the big leagues against a left-hander. So, you know that Terry Francona has been just itching for Ellsbury to get hot so he can put him back in the leadoff spot and get everybody where he would like them, and maybe this is the start of that."

And about Youkilis:

"That was the ninth time this season that he's been hit by a pitch, and that leads all Red Sox players. Of course, some of that comes from the fact that he's hanging out over the plate a little bit and is more of a target than some hitters. The fortunate thing for Youkilis and the Red Sox is that it's only a bad contusion, and the schedule gives them a little bit of a break with an off-day. And the feeling was last night that he probably will be back tomorrow night, when they open up the series with the White Sox."
