BOSTON (AP) - The Boston Red Sox are honoring their fans from Connecticut. The World Series champions have designated Aug. 31 as Connecticut Day at Fenway Park. The person who throws out the first pitch, the National Anthem singer and the Honor Guard will all be from Connecticut. The team will also make some tickets for that day's game against the Chicago White Sox available exclusively to Connecticut residents through a random online drawing. Registration for the ticket drawing starts Wednesday at www.redsox.com. |
