RI Olympians to be honored Monday night

Four Olympians with Rhode Island connections will be honored in pregame ceremonies Monday night at Fenway Park with the other New England natives who participated in the recently concluded Beijing Olympics.

Providence native Demetrius Andrade (boxing), Saunderstown's Elizabeth Beisel (swimming), Providence native Michael Parkhurst (soccer) and Brown University student Alicia Sacramone of Winchester, Mass., (gymnastics) will be on the field during the ceremonies.
