Josh Beckett (elbow), Mike Lowell (oblique) and Sean Casey (neck) have been activated from the disabled list, giving the Sox 28 players on the active roster for tonight's game against the Rangers, the first in a three-game series. . Beckett will be tonight's starting pitcher. Lowell is starting at third base and batting sixth. -- Steven Krasner
