BY SEAN McADAM ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Mike Timlin's record-breaking 1,051st career relief appearance Monday night shot him past Kent Tekulve for the most ever by a righty reliever. "Kent was one of my heroes when I was growing up,'' said Timlin. "I met him 18 or 19 years ago. I've always looked up to him and now that I've passed him, it means a lot.''
