Manny Ramirez, speaking to the Los Angeles Times, gave his version of the events this summer that led to his shoving Red Sox traveling secretary Jack McCormick in Houston. Here's the Times' T.J. Simers wrote in a broad-ranging column about the Dodgers: As for the incident that had him knocking down a Red Sox executive, "I was wrong," Ramirez said. He said the relationship with the executive had been deteriorating for some time, and a day earlier the guy had said some nasty things to Ramirez in front of Ramirez's teammates. Ramirez went home troubled, returned and asked for a meeting with the executive. "I told him, 'I can't have you disrespecting me in front of my teammates.' " When he didn't get the response he liked, it escalated into a shove. "I didn't handle it the right way," he said.

"Good riddance Manny, you big baby. How can you accuse someone of disrespecting YOU? You do it to yourself with every action that you take. You are a cancer and its a good thing all of your friends (the other players) voted to get rid of you, so I guess it wasn't just the executive!!!!! We are glad you are gone. You disgrace to baseball and the Boston Fans do not miss you at all. Maybe nest year you will play with the Yankees. Manny, you let your teammates down but above all=the fans who supported you so much. I am glad you are no longer a member of the Red Sox.

Manny is one of the greatest hitters in Baseball...ever !!!
As a Red Sox fan...I would take him back in a minute. Who is more valuble? The Travel Secretary or a 330 Hitter....duh....
