BY JOE McDONALD ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- When Red Sox manager Terry Francona met with the local beat writers Sunday afternoon he admitted that every pitcher - with the exception of Josh Beckett - will be available to work in Game Seven of the ALCS. "It's all hands on deck," Francona said. There's no reason to save anyone because it's do-or-die. If starter Jon Lester struggles early, it's possible Tim Wakefield, Daisuke Matsuzaka and Paul Byrd could come out of the bullpen in relief. |
