ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- It didn't take long for Rays fans here to start celebrating because their team is in the ALCS.
Streets around Tropicana Field are already closed off and packed with fans with plenty of libations. Kevin McNamara and I were driving here when a shirtless guy on a dirt bike pulled up next to us with a case of Bud Light between his legs. You don't see that too often in Boston.
Former P-Bruins athletic trainer, and Smithfield native, Mike Poirier is now an assistant trainer for the Tampa Bay Lightning and he said it's been crazy around here the last few weeks.
The Lightning have a home game on Saturday night. Surprisingly, they haven't changed the time of the game.
That's because Sox fans know better than to drink Bud Light.
