ANAHEIM, Calif. -- The Angels third, fourth, and fifth hitters -- Mark Teixeira, Vladimir Guerrero, and Torii Hunter -- are 6-for-7, with two walks, off Dice-K so far.
All three reached base in the fifth inning.
Teixeira, who singled his first two times at bat, and scored the Angels' first run in the first inning, led off with a walk, on a 3-2 pitch. Dice-K also went to a full count on Guerrero, who also walked. Hunter, who drove in Teixeira in the first with a single, and then was called out at first on a very close play with two on and two out in the third, drove in another run with a single through the hole at short, cutting Boston's lead to 5-3.
That trio also hit well in Game One. Teixeira and Guerrero both were 2-for-4. Hunter was 2-for-3 and drove in the Angels' only run.
