BY KEVIN McNAMARA ANAHEIM, Calif. -- The Angels' 10-game playoff skid against the Red Sox is all the rage here in Southern California. The 10 wins in a row ties the Sox with the Oakland A's for the longest playoff win streak against a single opponent. The A's beat the Sox 10 in a row from 1988 to 2003. The Angels last beat Sox in a playoff game in the 1986 ALCS, 22 years ago. The cumulative score over the 10-game streak, 73-28. Ouch. Some other number over the 10 games: -- Home runs: Boston 15-7. |
