Rotoworld.com is reporting that former Red Sox outfielder Trot Nixon has signed a minor-league deal with the Brewers and will receive an invitation to spring training. Since leaving Boston at the end of the 2006 season, Nixon has played in the Indians', Diamondbacks' and Mets' organizations, and has seen major-league playing time in Cleveland and New York. In 97 big-league games with the Indians and Mets, he hit .243 with 4 home runs and 32 runs-batted in. He had a .337 on-base percentage and a .330 slugging percentage. |
