Take it for what it's worth, but the Washington Times has blogged that "there are strong indications that the Red Sox will announce [today] that they have landed . . . highly-coveted slugger" Mark Teixeira. Earlier today, the Boston Herald's Sean McAdam reported the Nationals "are now, privately, pessimistic about their chances" to land Teixeira. Stay tuned. We'll have the news as soon as it breaks.
