While you were sleeping came word that the New York Yankees took yet another player from the Boston Red Sox. The New York Post's Joel Sherman reported last night that the Bombers had signed catcher Kevin Cash to a minor-league contract that will pay $700,000 if Cash reaches the majors. The light-hitting Cash has been Tim Wakefield's personal catcher the last two seasons. |
