The Boston Globe is reporting that the Red Sox have signed 30-year-old utility infielder Nick Green to a minor-league contract. Green, who did not appear in the majors last season, has played in parts of four seasons for the Braves, the Devil Rays, the Yankees and the Mariners. He's a career .240 hitter.
