The Red Sox take the field for the first time in a (kind of) competitive situation tomorrow afternoon, when they face Boston College. The seven-inning game will begin just after 1 p.m. Boston plans to send Josh Beckett, Clay Buchholz, Kris Johnson, Junichi Tazawa, Felix Doubront and Daniel Bard to the mound to face the Eagles. Then, at 7 tomorrow night, the Sox face the Minnesota Twins at Hammond Stadium, the Twins' ballpark in Fort Myers, Fla. For that game, the Red Sox will pitch Tim Wakefield, Justin Masterson, Manny Delcarmen, Javier Lopez, Ramon Ramirez, Billy Traber and Dustin Richardson. The Twins game tomorrow will be broadcast on NESN and on the radio. Here is the Red Sox' projected lineup for each game: vs. Boston College vs. Minnesota Twins |
