Spring Training: Pirates 3, Red Sox 2

FORT MYERS, Fla. _ The Red Sox held a two-run lead heading into the top of the ninth before the Pirates pushed across three in the inning for a 3-2 victory at City of Palms Park.

The Red Sox fall to 0-2 in Grapefruit League games. Jeff Bailey provided a two-run single for the Red Sox in the first inning.

Boston travels to Port Charlotte to face the Tampa Bay Rays on Friday at 1:05 p.m.
