FORT MYERS, Fla. -- The Red Sox won their first Grapefruit League game of the spring Saturday night.
After defeating Northeastern, 14-0, Saturday afternoon, Boston pounded the Reds into submission in the nightcap at City of Palms Park, 16-5.
Boston banged out 20 hits and is now 1-3 in Grapefruit League action. The Sox will face the Twins Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.
