PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. _ Mike Lowell will return to the lineup on Tuesday against the Orioles.

The Red Sox third baseman will serve as the DH and is expected to get two at-bats. If that goes well, he's scheduled to play third on Friday night against the Yankees at City of Palms Park.

Lowell had surgery on his right hip last November.
