FORT MYERS, Fla. _ After the Red Sox were done taking BP Tuesday morning, prospect Lars Anderson went to the back field at the City of Palms Park complex with hitting coach Dave Magadan and sport psychology coach Bob Tewksbury for some extra swings.
Anderson, a left-handed hitter, is batting .176 with three hits and two RBI in 17 at-bats this spring.
The Sox' 22nd pick (553rd overall) in the 2006 draft spent about 15 extra minutes in the cage. He spoke with Magadan after the session.
