The Boston Red Sox on Tuesday night will begin a new ad campaign that the team hopes will help extend its record-breaking streak of consecutive sellouts, a streak that is in danger with seats still available for some games this season.

The "Greatest Moments" campaign, which will include TV and online ads highlighting memorable moments in franchise history, is not specifically aimed at selling tickets, chief sales and marketing officer Sam Kennedy told The Boston Globe. But the team has said it is concerned about the effect of the economy on its fans, who have bought every ticket to every Red Sox home game since May 15, 2003, a streak of 476 games.

The first ad, which will be broadcast during Tuesday night's Red Sox-Twins game, will celebrate Dave Roberts' ninth-inning stolen base in Game 4 of the 2004 American League Championship Series, against the Yankees. It will feature interviews about the play with manager Terry Francona and Celtics captain Paul Pierce, according to The Globe.
