Sudents from the Clarke School for the Deaf/Center for Oral Education campuses in Northampton and Canton, Mass., will sing the national anthem at the Pawtucket Red Sox game Saturday at 1 p.m. The school said that students will use their voices to sing the anthem "showing hundreds of sports fans that deaf children can not only listen and talk, but sing too." Clarke is also selling general admission tickets to the game against the Gwinnett Braves; $3 of every $6 ticket purchased through Clarke will benefit the school. To purchase tickets to benefit the school, call Sandy Soderberg at ssoderberg@clarkeschool.org, or call 413-582-1135. |
