The New York Yankees, whose Monday night game against Oakland was rained out, have decided to bypass Chien-Ming Wang, who has had three disastrous outings so far, in his next scheduled start, which would have been Friday night at Fenway Park. The Yankees will now go with Joba Chamberlain on Friday, A.J. Burnett on Saturday and Andy Pettitte on Sunday. The Red Sox will counter with Jon Lester on Friday, Josh Beckett on Saturday and Tim Wakefield on Sunday. |
