On how he felt during the game:
"This is the first time I've played since I hurt my hamstring, so I was going to go out there pretty aware of it and being sure of myself and making sure it feels good before I get on it really hard. It felt fine, everything was fine. I got to see some pitching, which I was happy about. I came out feeling good. I can go home pleased tonight. ... It was good to get back on my feet."
On his third-inning sacrifice fly:
"I couldn't tell [if it was going out], to be honest with you. I wouldn't have thought so off the bat, but the ball carries pretty decent here sometimes. I was just trying to get the ball in the air."
PawSox manager Ron Johnson was waiting to hear from Red Sox head trainer Paul Lessard as to Baldelli's schedule for Tuesday. Baldelli will play -- it's just a matter of figuring out if he'll play the outfield or DH again.
"I thought he looked good," said Johnson. "He took some good swings, but I always think he looks good. I love watching him take BP. I'm a fan. Watched him run down the line and he didn't have any problems. We talked during most of the game about stuff and he said he felt fine."
