PAWTUCKET - For anyone sitting at home with plans to attend tonight's PawSox-Scranton Yankees game, it is raining. Not a good sign for the scheduled post-game fireworks.

However, the hope is that the thunderstorms in the area will clear. Present radar does show some breaks in the weather and the expected near-sellout crowd is certainly hoping the Sox not only play but can still set off the fireworks around 9:30 tonight. Of course, that time is very fluid right now since we're looking at a potential rain delay to the start of tonight's 6p.m. game.

We'll keep you updated.
