Atlanta's Bobby Cox, Chipper Jones, and Eric O'Flaherty were tossed in the seventh inning, leaving the Braves without two of their biggest contributors at a crucial point in the ballgame.

In the 7th, with the Braves in the field. With O'Flaherty on the mound, Home plate umpire Bill Hohn missed a strike call on J.D. Drew, and Drew hit the next ball off the Green Monster for the go-ahead RBI. Jones, O'Flaherty and Cox began jawing with Hohn after the play.

Jones clearly hadn't forgotten about a blown strike call much earlier in the game, when Hohn called the Braves third baseman out on a calf-high knuckleball.

Jones was due up to lead off the next inning. Kelly Johnson batted in his place, and doubled off the wall.
