BOSTON _ Red Sox right fielder J.D. Drew has been given the night off for a couple of reasons. 1) He has a sore shoulder, according to manager Terry Francona. 2) The Sox are facing lefty Derek Holland.

Francona also hinted that Drew could have Sunday off, too. Rocco Baldelli is playing right field for Boston tonight.
