In The New York Post (which had the headline "This Sox" on its front page) the main focus was on Chien-Ming Wang's future in the rotation. He was predictably awful last night, failing to last through the third inning, and manager Joe Girardi seemed completely flummoxed after the game about what to do with his team's former ace. But The Post also noted that, for all Wang's struggles, the Yankees could have won it had their hitters done a little better than 2 for 15 with runners in scoring position. |
