The Pawtucket Red Sox set a season high for runs today as they picked up a road victory against the Syracuse Chiefs, 15-5. Pawtucket collected 20 hits, with Chris Carter, Aaron Bates and Gil Velazquez leading the way with three apiece. Jeff Bailey had two hits, including a solo home run.
Pawtucket earned a split of the four-game series in Syracuse, and will return home Monday night to face Charlotte for the start of a four-game series at McCoy Stadium.
