BOSTON _ It appears Jeff Bailey has suffered a high-ankle sprain and there's a possibility he could go on the disabled list.
The first baseman/outfielder was recalled from Pawtucket last week when Mike Lowell went on the DL. Bailey was playing the field Saturday night when he was in a collision at first base. He was walking around the Red Sox clubhouse after Sunday's game with an air cast on his right ankle.
