Red Sox will send 6 to All-Star game

BOSTON _ The Boston Red Sox will be well represented at the All-Star game again this summer.

A total of six Sox players have been named to the American League roster, including Dustin Pedroia, Jason Bay, Tim Wakefield, Josh Beckett, Jonathan Papelbon and Kevin Youkilis.

The 80th midsummer classic will be held on July 14 in St. Louis.

Pedroia, Papelbon, Youkilis and Beckett will each earn $50,000 with the All-Star bonus. We're checking into Bay and Wakefield.
