ARLINGTON, Texas -- Red Sox closer Jonathan Papelbon is feeling much better and is available to pitch against the Rangers Tuesday night.
The right-hander dealt with the flu bug that's making its way around the Sox' clubhouse and said he felt horrible for 12 hours on Monday. He looked a lot better Tuesday afternoon and said he's ready to pitch. Manager Terry Francona was also sick on Monday.
Center fielder Jacoby Ellsbury missed two games last weekend in Toronto because of the illness.
Francona said no one else is dealing with it at this point.
