But Ramirez was apparently so sure of his closer, Jonathan Broxton (or so indifferent about the ultimate outcome), that he didn't stick around to watch the game from the dugout, either. Instead, by Ramirez's own admission, he went straight to the shower, and only found out that his team lost the game when he saw the highlight later on. Torre tried to shrug off Ramirez's decision to make like a Dodger fan and make an early exit. "He's a cool customer," Torre said. "But he certainly didn't have any lack of respect because of that. I think the way it turned out, it probably doesn't look good. But it's nothing different than he had done before." Manny show disrespect to his teammates? His coach? The fans? Noooooo, NOT MANNY!!!! Bet he showed up (and stuck around long enough) to collect his paycheck though, didn't he?
