Here is the Red Sox lineup for the regular season finale against the Indians.
CF Ellsbury
2B Pedroia
C V. Martinez
3B Youkilis
DH Ortiz
LF Bay
RF JD Drew
1B Kotchman
SS Gonzalez
P Buchholz

Here are a few Red Sox updates:
**The Red Sox had optional hitting for their regulars and reserves but the bulk of players came outside to hit in the cage. Nick Green was seen taking ground balls before BP and is still clearly struggling. His chances of being on the active roster for the ALDS are slim to none.
**On that front, Chris Wooward is still not with the team. He's in Tampa with his wife after the birth of their child on Thursday. With Green hurt and Woodward away with personal problems, it looks like Jed Lowrie will get the nod as the team's utility infielder. No final word is expected until the roster is announced in Anaheim.
**The Red Sox will announce their starting rotiation for the Angels series after Sunday's game. At least that is the plan.
** Mike Lowell is still nursing a sore thumb but he could've played today. In fact, he was scratched from the lineup after a conversation with manager Terry Francona.
** Manny Delcarmen was at the park after getting into a traffic accident after Saturday's game. Delcarmen will not be available to pitch Sunday and his chances of making the playoff roster are very shaky.
** Finally, Rocco Baldelli was not at the park. The Sox are trying to get him some medical attention for his injured hip. Francona says the Sox will try everything to get Baldelli healthy and on the playoff roster.
