Red-hot outfielder Josh Reddick has been pulled from Triple-A Pawtucket's game and is headed to Boston to join the major league club, and could play in Tuesday night's Red Sox game against Tampa.
Reddick, 23, is leading Pawtucket in most of the run production categories, and will finish the Triple-A season with a .266 average, 18 home runs, and 65 RBI. In three-stints with Boston this year, he has a .196 average with a double, a triple, and two RBI.
He had a double and a home run for Pawtucket today before he was pulled after the fourth inning and told to pack his bags for Boston.
