The Boston Globe's Eric Wilbur reports that Tina Cervasio, NESN's on-field Red Sox reporter for the last two seasons, is leaving the network at the end of March to be closer to her family. She is a New Jersey native, and her husband works there. Read the complete story here.

This is not a loss. She was a pleasant enough lady but she always seemed to be talking down to legitimate Red Sox fans. She is one of the two women who I do not beleive belong coving sports for NESN. Let's not lose Kathryn Tappan (sp), she knows what she is talking about.
